A Look at Reservoir - A backend content repository for headless Drupal.
Presented by: Nick Selvaggio
In this talk Nick will take us through the motivations and concepts behind Acquia's new Drupal 8 distribution named Reservoir.
We will go through installing and setting up a simple API for a content model and then look at how we consume our new API using a decoupled frontend.
Who is this talk for?
One of the great strengths Drupal has had for years is the ability to expose extremely powerful content modeling capabilities to folks who are not coders.
This talk will introduce a tool that will allow non-coders to expose content models to a wide range of applications through standard web service endpoints.
If you are curious how RESTFul web services work and how APIs are setup then this talk is for you. Both coders and non-coders will benefit from what will be shared.
