Drupal is popular in India in Tier - 1 cities like Mumbai, New Delhi and Bangalore while in other cities it is catching traction. Drupal Communities in these cities have 1000-3000 members while there is massive potential in Tier - 2, 3 cities like Chandigarh, Goa, Gurgaon, Kolkata, etc.
DrupalCamp Goa was first DrupalCamp of Goa. Goa being the city of a million people and has some of the premier colleges like IIT, NIT, BITS Pilani Goa, Goa University, we wanted to build an active Drupal Community.
With active support from professors of Goa University who are passionate about Emerging web technologies and Open Source, it became possible to reach out to college students who would be regular attendees and part of drupal community.

We wanted to organise a camp which would bring down Drupalers from different parts of India and together we would make it one of the most vibrant DrupalCamps ever while fostering the Local Drupal Goa Community.

Key highlights of the camp:
- 20 Sessions
- Attendees are coming from Goa, Pune, Hyderabad, Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Surat, Ahmedabad, Indore and other nearby cities.
- Participating attendees are from organisations such as TCS, Iksula, Srijan, Wipro, Persistent, QED42, Acquia, Valuebound, Unimity Solutions, Axelerant, etc and other 35 organisations.

Interestingly, till a month prior to the event, we just had one sponsor but as the marketing campaigns intensified and a positive buzz was created around the DrupalCamp Goa on Social Media, people started having good expectation from the camp.

To make it more interesting for the attendees and to provide greater reasons to attend DrupalCamp, we introduced Full Day Drupal Workshop, workshop on Blockchain Technology and Data Visualisation Softwares and how Drupal can fit in those.

Our Keynote Speaker was Mr. Pankaj Verma, Enterprise Architecture at IBM Global Business practice. He delivered a session on “Emerging Technologies”. Parth Gohil facilitated the Session and ensured that Drupalers connects with the session well.

The 20 sessions were divided into following 6 tracks:
* Coding and Development
