Presentations:
-Joel Finkel: It is sometimes difficult--or impossible--to use the Views module to generate the SQL query that you need. Fortunately, there is a way to work around this limitation. This short presentation will describe the problem and offer a solution. People will learn the rudimentary aspects of creating a custom module and learn how to use it plug in their own SQL.
-Matthew Lechleider: How to Drush. This will be a quick 10 - 15 minute presentation on how to download, setup, and use Drush. Drush is extremely beneficial and easy to learn. It is a Swiss Army Knife which all Drupal developers should utilize.
-Ruben Rodriguez: Showing how lm_paypal was used to drive the jam.cdmug.org payment system. Also, looking forward, how we can create a better PayPal API for Drupal.
Critique:
After presentations every month CDMUG critiques a high profile Drupal site as a group. During our March meetup we will be critiquing WhiteHouse.gov.
The Chicago Drupal Meet Up group is proud to present at least two featured presentations about the hottest Drupal topics each month. We have room for 75 people and all skill levels are are welcomed. If you are brand new to Drupal we recommend attending one of our free monthly training workshops.
Duo Consulting has volunteered the meetup location. Comment your RSVP with name and bring photo ID to gain authorized access to Duo's office downtown.
We are always looking for additional presenters who can present a 10 - 15 minute advanced topic. Or a 30 - 60 minute presentation. Always remember the projector is open for anyone to show off a project. If you have an idea or can present - contact Matthew or http://cdmug.org/contact

If you are not able to physically attend, join us virtually in our #cdmug IRC chat room on freenode. Members hang out in the chat room on a daily basis even when meetups are not happening. All meetups will be in traditional CDMUG fashion. No dress code, relaxed attitudes, open ideas, laptop encouraged, remember business cards, and we will probably go for a beer afterwards.
