The University of Minnesota Law School is looking to hire a part-time Drupal developer to help us with our migration from Drupal 7 to 8 (or possibly 9, depending on timing). Our emphasis is primarily back-end (site building and migration module development), but work may also include some front-end theming too, depending on experience and qualifications.
Please see the official job posting for details: https://hr.myu.umn.edu/jobs/ext/338492 Or, if you get lost in the UMN HR system, search for job #338492
The position is classified as "Temporary Casual", which allows for up to 14 hours per week. Note that this limit applies to all time worked for the U, not just for the Law School, so it's not something you could add on top of another Temp Casual position without splitting your time. We want as much of that 14 h/wk as we can get!
The irony is that we would love to find someone with experience working with the U's platform, hosting and Folwell theme, but they just can't be employed for the U in that capacity now. (Working for a Drupal agency that has the U as a client probably doesn't count towards that 14 h/wk, but we'd have to confirm with HR.)
I'm leading the migration effort, so if you have questions about the Drupal side of things, feel free to email me at dtrexel@umn.edu. HR-type questions are best addressed to Law School IT Manager, Yuemo Zeng. (See the job posting for his email address.)
