It's been some time since we have Singapore meetup. Amidst pandemic and other priorities, community meetup run by volunteers is usually the first one to take the toll.
However, Drupal is all about community. So here's our attempt to restart the Singapore meetup and our first virtual session this year:
1. Drupal Certification (17:30–18:00 UTC+8)
Presenter: SJ, Singapore's first and only Drupal 9 Grandmaster
Having recently been awarded the D9 Grandmaster title, I'd like to share the following topics which may be useful for those looking to get certified.
- Drupal Certification 101: What is it and why should you get it?
- Grandmaster Accreditation: What is it and how should you study for it?
I will set up survey to gather burning questions on this topic and any submitter will stand a chance to get Drupal Certification voucher sponsored by Acquia.
2. Paving the way to Drupal Meetup Asia (18:00–18:30 UTC+8)
Facilitator: Rachel Lam, SJ
This is an open invitation to the community members and leaders in the region to re-spark the conversation which, we hope, will lead to the experiment of running cross-country meetup. The idea of join-meetup across Asian countries was first brought up in one of the DrupalCamp SG 2018 BoF sessions.
