My interest in this group stems from having friends who want to make money from their art. I thought I would mention that there is a new addition in ecommerce 4.7 called ec_media which bridges the gap between audio and ecommerce. I am not the expert, yogadex is the expert so I'll quote from his module:
* The module makes it possible to treat media nodes as products. By media
* nodes, we mean those nodes which manage a file of any sort. This module
* bridges the gap between the third-party module's API and the file.module
* API.

* Currently, only the audio module implements a hook which makes this
* bridging possible. Audio is the only media type currently supported.
*
* More media types may be added here in the future.
As a disclaimer, I am not saying: whacko - go and sell. We still need support for a "teaser" file for example. But, hey, nothing wrong with raising a bit of interest.
