Digital Inclusion Grants Available
Application Deadline: March 10th

The City of Seattle Department of Information Technology is seeking applications for the 2008 Bill Wright Technology Matching Fund. Grants will be awarded for distinct community projects that reach technology underserved communities, thereby increasing "digital inclusion". The City's goals are to 1) increase technology literacy; 2) provide residents with access to computers, the Internet and other information technology; and 3) increase residents' use of technology for community problem solving, civic engagement and community building.

Grant deadline

The City is currently accepting applications for the 2008 grant round. The deadline is Monday, March 10th at 5:00pm. The application and guidelines are available at http://www.seattle.gov/tech/tmf . The fund will award grants of up to $20,000 from a total fund of $175,000.

Attend a grant information session to learn more about the application process, grant requirements, how projects get funded and the experiences of successful applicants. Program staff and current grantees will be there to answer any questions.
