First question, aside from this page, where is a good place to go to ask questions about views slideshow usage? My second question is probably better posted somewhere else, but I don't know where to start as I'm new to the Drupal Views online community.
I have a client (my first actually) who wants to have 3 image thumbnails that choose what gets displayed in the main content area. Easy enough so far. I can do it with SingleFrame or Thumbnail Hover slideshows. But then she wants the main content to actually be 3 images that can be scrolled through. 3 different images for each of the 3 thumbnails, so 9 images in all. Now using Views Slideshow Thumbnail Hover, I can get 3 items to show up for each one thumbnail, but I need to show only one at a time and scroll them.
I'm sure from what I've read that if I knew Javascript, I could put together my own custom view to do this, but I'm hoping to stick with stock modules and just use CSS markup but that doesn't seem possible. Any recommendation on the most straightforward way to begin with this? I don't need every detail. If I could understand what the creator of Views Slideshow JCarousel Thumbs did, I could probably create my own. http://drupal.org/project/views_slideshow_jcarouselthumbs
