Silicon Valley Drupal User Group Meetup Tomorrow: Automating the Migration Process
Tomorrow evening at 7:00 PM, myself and Heron Heron Ordoñez of Nvidia will be presenting our notes on how we were able to achieve a complex Drupal 6 to 7 migration with roughly two minutes of website downtime.
We'll be covering the migration from both a Drupal standpoint, and what was needed on the server side to achieve this near 100% automation. What is Drupal Co-working?
Bring your laptop, brown bag lunch if you need it, and come work on your Drupal website along with others from around the campus doing the same. More than that it's a great way to get questions you have about Drupal answered from other people who are working with Drupal on a daily basis and professionals with several years of experience.
It's also a great way to meet other people at UC Davis who are doing the same kind of work as you and share information as you learn.
