This is a group for those in Winnipeg and the surrounding area who are interested in Drupal! As we have now reached a critical mass of more than 1, meetings and discussions will no longer be held in my bathroom! Lets get together and chat about all things Drupal, our experiences and favorite modules etc...
Winnipeg Drupallers
Hi everyone,
I see this group has not had any activity in some time, so I thought I would ask....who is out there in Winnipeg that is interested in talking Drupal? Lets see a show of hands and get this group going.
Matthew :)

I'm still old-school, which means I love learning by books, rather than skipping all over the web trying to find Drupal tutorials.
O'Reilly's by far my favourite source for computer books, so I'm very excited to see a new one on Drupal coming out in December. It covers Drupal 6. Even better, it covers a lot of modules, which is a stumbling block for me due to the lack of really in-depth tutorials on many of them. Darren will know I'm happy!
The authors (Lullabot, so you know it will be good) also have a website here for it: http://www.usingdrupal.com/
Cheers,
Chris
New to group
Hi there,
I have started using Drupal this year and am amazed at this CMS. My PHP skills are not great but I'm learning and I'm getting around Drupal pretty well. Would be great to find out more about any Drupal events happening in Winnipeg and Canada and try and get more involved.
Cheers,
Mat
new to Winnipeg
I am new to Winnipeg (I lived here for six months around 18 months ago) and interested to see what people are doing with drupal here, and what it is like getting projects/clients here. Most of my clients are in Australia which is where i am from and have a registered web design co. (I will be registering here in the near future as well).
I had a quick look through the members of this group, though also noted visual lizard separately who seem to have a few larger sites/clients.
