Whether you're from the panhandle, northeast Florida, the Gulf coast, central Florida, the Space Coast, or south Florida, you'll find other Drupal developers and themers here.

Currently, we have regular meetups in the following areas:
- Brevard County (Cocoa Village): alternating bi-weekly Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6:30pm
- Broward County (Ft. Lauderdale): 2nd Wednesday of each month, 7pm
- Orlando: 1st? Tuesday? of each month, 6:30pm
- Gainesville: 2nd Thursday of each month, 7pm
- Jacksonville: 3rd Thursday of each month, 6pm
- Miami Beach: 4th Wednesday of each month, 6pm
- Palm Beaches (Jupiter-Boca Raton): 3rd Tuesday of each month, 7:30pm
- Sarasota / SW Florida: 1st Tuesday of each month 6:30pm
- Tallahassee: Monthly, on a Monday evening.
- Tampa Bay: 1st Thursday of each month

We worked on Views details and transfered over to installing Drupal 8. It was a lot of fun.
We will be creating a new website with Drupal 8. This will be a small but working website using Drupal 8. Our last meeting we downloaded Drupal 8 and had a problem was the ISP not supporting PHP 5.3.x. Make sure your server can handle PHP 5.3.x when loading up Drupal 8. We will see what else happens after you get Drupal 8 Installed this Saturday

Job Solicitation from Stanford Highwire
I don't know if anyone else received a job offer from Stanford through their Drupal.org profile, but I was curious why the choose me, since as far as I know I haven't ever dealt with Stanford.
I emailed "Val" and asked why she picked me, and her answers were a little vague.
I am slightly suspicious here since I couldn't get a straight answer as to why me particularly.
Regardless, if they are legit they are looking for some developers. Personally, I'm not interested and it sounds a little fishy.
