There has been an up and coming categorization of engineers in the Drupal world that specialize in what we call DevOps. DevOps entails managing the infrastructure and workflow practices to deliver enterprise level sites in complex environments. This should span everything from automated testing, change management tools like puppet, branching strategies, continuous integration, performance and anything else that falls in this category.

Your preferred monitoring cocktail
I'd be interested in hearing/seeing from folks here what your preferred "master" server monitoring cocktail looks like. I'm continually tweaking mine, just tonight adding a Nagios plugin to help me ID when MySQL may be restarting frequently due to corrupted pages (or whatever.) Noticeably absent from the attached screenshot is anything directly output from Drupal, but I never said I was done. :-)

I'm looking for tools to help me keep an eye on my server. I'm trying some tools and I really like Monit (http://mmonit.com/monit/). First because its simple and allow me to collect some data on one dashboard. Monit is also very flexible on the rules that we can do when a problem occurs before to alert you by e-mail or whatever.

Drupal Unit Testing over Windows
Hi there, I'm using Windows 7, IIS, PHP 5.3.10 nts running with FastCGI, SQL Server 2008 R2 with PDO 2.0 drivers for windows to run Drupal.
I'm suffering a very slow behavior running the Drupal Tests, never ends to run the tests, the others parts of the site works fine.
Any thought about what may is happening ?
