There's a critical mass of folks interested in Drupal here in Ottawa that it is time we got together to meet in person and share a beer or two in order to get to know each other a bit better. There are now several of us who have gone to Drupal Cons, although I think just Peter, Charlotte & myself were the only ones in Boston. Others have made it to Drupal Camps. There are some great Drupal shops in town and lots of keen advocates/users.

proposed start time change
Any chance we could change the start time from 17:30 to 18:30? or 18:00 at least? Just a question, no worries if I'm the minority with a prefered later start time.

Let's start it at 5:30pm (because that's what we've stated thus far), there will be some folks who are able to make it at this time (and not later). However, but we can certainly hold off any formal rounds of introductions until 6:00pm to ensure that people have had a chance to arrive, get their drinks and get settled in.
We're going to have to discuss what are good days/times for people to attend a May meeting at some point on the 30th. Want to make sure it isn't conflicting with DemoCamp, GOSLINGS, or similar events.

Wanted to say that there were about 25 people at Ottawa's first Drupal gathering. It was an exciting discussion that lasted almost 5hrs for some of us.
