Drupalcon UK

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.

I think it would be awesome to have a UK drupalcon in 2009 or 2010. Does anyone have any ideas for where we could have it?

I talking to Warwick University about how much it would cost to hold it there (1200 delegates max.) but has anyone else got any ideas?

Would there be people to help out with the organisation of it, and willing to find sponsors etc?

There's major work being done towards a Uk DrupalCon in 2009. The link given above (http://www.drupal.org.uk/dupalcon) is the forum we will be using for discussion. :-)
