I'm nearing the end of my current project and about to start a few others. I'm usually a lone coder but I'm thinking it would be cool to meet up with some other non-elites in Vancouver, newish to Drupal and work on a project or two together. We can learn from each other and perhaps make something cool. I'm sure there are others out there like me kinda between the "I suck" and "I kick ass" threshold, not quite ready for the big leagues but wanting to get there quick. Or am I the only one?
If interested, message me or introduce yourself at Drupal Camp!

Let's get together and collaborate on learning Drupal
Hi Ryan,
I am interested in getting together with you to collaborate on learning Drupal. I tried to send you email at your website, rjdempsey.com, but your site is down due to bandwidth exceeded. Do you have another email address? You can reach me at katy@seascapewebdesign.com.

Hi Katy
Yeah, I had hosting issues so I've temporarily stuffed my sites in a seriously oversold reseller. lol. I'll get that sorted out eventually. You can also get a hold of group members through their drupal.org contact form (unless they chose to disabled it). I've had a pretty good response on this, so we'll plan a small meetup soon. The monthly meetups are awesome, but there's too much time in between for me. The Seattle guys have a regular Drupal co-op type thing which is neat. Anyways, I've got you're email, we'll keep in touch.
Mini-Sprints (aka Co-Work) in Vancouver
Hey Ryan, like yourself, when I saw the Seattle Co-Work stuff I definitely thought something like that in Vancouver would be cool. If this is what you're talking about, let me know how I can help. 'Co-work' doesn't seem like quite the right name for it, I always think of Workspace, but maybe that's just me.
Vancouver is big
Yeah, I'm not sure if co-work is right other, but I know what they mean. I'd also like to mention that Greater Vancouver is a very large area, and it would be great to have an alternative to meeting in Gastown for every meetup. Vancouver is a unique city in that downtown is not city center from a geographical or traffic stand point. I met with a lot of people at dcv08 who made the trip out for the special event, but regularly wouldn't. I myself don't mind going wherever but I'll take the opportunity now to speak for all the valley types out there who made mention of this to me.
