Let's jot down information here regarding what we will need for a Drupal 7 release party.

  • Party will be at Marker Seven Patio
  • Food & Drinks (Get sponsored?)
    • My company Future US might be able to sponsor a couple of kegs but I'll need a better idea of how many people would be attending and what the cost might be - contact cdoyle or email cdoyle at futureus dot com
    • Probably will be less than 100 people, will try to get some numbers.
    • Marker Seven will sponsor food / drinks
  • Presentations of Drupal 7 sites (add your site to the list
  • Would be nice to have a live feed from other Drupal release parties or of drupal.org activity or such being projected
  • Outreach (Mailing lists, meetup.com post, etc.)
  • Set a start time
  • Follow the reason party guide http://groups.drupal.org/plan-Drupal-7-release-party
  • Accessibility
  • How's the accessibility? Stairs, elevator, bathrooms? I emailed Marker Seven through their contact form to find out, but if anyone knows this, I'd like to know ahead of time. Thanks! -- Liz Henry
