Bounty to fix exposed filter block in panel3 pages and organic group tabs for D6

activelyOUT - Sun, 2009-04-26 16:29

I would like to see exposed filter block in panels pages using Views2 get fixed for Drupal 6.

I am willing to chip in to make it happen. ($75). If there is a developer who could do this and possibly use chipin to gather more support.

Currently exposed filter block works if
1. no panels
2. no views as tabs in organic group

but I would like to have it work in those two areas

  1. as tabs in an organic group
  2. with panels

So in essence, they should redirect to the correct page.

  1. exposed filter block in a view with path url node/%/foo and it is a tab

Organizers:

We are doing a Drupal booth at MySQLcon again this year. It's a great opportunity to meet hundreds of people and help spread the word about Drupal. Many of the people at MySQLCon are familiar with LAMP and they just need to be educated about what's possible with Drupal. If you are interested in helping, please sign up.

The conference is at the Santa Clara Convention center. We will be using the Drupal booth event kit. To learn about how the event went last year see my blog post: http://acquia.com/blog/kieran/drupal-mysql-conference-day-1

Cheers,
Kieran

Penguin Day is coming to San Francisco on Saturday, April 25, 2009,
right before the NTC. We'd love to see you there!

Penguin Days are designed to let nonprofits and social justice activists
learn about free and open source software that can support their work
and potentially save them money, including tools for web publishing,
fundraising, blogging, and campaigning.

Full details are at www.penguinday.org. Thanks to the generosity of
Google, we're delighted to grant fee waivers to anyone who needs one!

As the economic downturn becomes more pronounced and people begin to realize that government alone cannot help solve the problem, there is a growing awareness of the need for community and connection. We are developing a plug-in portal for individuals, groups, and organizations that want to create a better world through direct help to one another. It is an online city-specific community that is part social network and part CMS that connects those that need help with those that want to help.

I would like to know how i can create a custom node/page that users will interact with to post photos, business contacts and business details on separate sections of the node/page.

On saving/submiting the form...all that should look like an idependent webpage...think of a business directory.
Thanks

I need to ramp up to speed on module development and writing custom extensions to Drupal. I am up to speed on several frameworks from Zend to (ack!) Mambo but need to learn the ins and outs of creating custom views, filters, etc. in Drupal for an upcoming project, and due to other commitments, don't have time to do this the right way (RTFM).

Willing to compensate for a few hours of high level knowledge transfer, in San Francisco. Please contact me at dave@wonderlandlabs.com.

We have launched two social networks using Drupal (one is live and kicking...and one is already in beta) and are looking to expand our team to several more drupal developers who have experience working with Drupal social networks or social media sites. We're proud to say that our current sites have been been built pretty well (we like to think so) and are focused on two passionate communities. We would like to recruit a few experienced drupal developers who want to work on a few exciting projects and help us accelerate our development.
