Large Community sites and How Panels works are the two topics this month.
Drupal has prove that it can run even the largest sites out there. The team over at www.greenappleventures.com has deployed some of their largest community sites using Drupal.
This month our showcase site is http://community.mylifetime.com/ which is a huge high traffic community site running Drupal.
Listen to the people behind this site talk about why they used Drupal and how they built this site.
How do we handle more-or-less dead groups?
e.g. http://groups.drupal.org/lietuvi-kas-drupal-vertimas which seems to have few members and no content.
Should they be deleted?

Bounty to fix exposed filter block in panel3 pages and organic group tabs for D6
I would like to see exposed filter block in panels pages using Views2 get fixed for Drupal 6.
I am willing to chip in to make it happen. ($75). If there is a developer who could do this and possibly use chipin to gather more support.
Currently exposed filter block works if
1. no panels
2. no views as tabs in organic group
but I would like to have it work in those two areas
- as tabs in an organic group
- with panels
So in essence, they should redirect to the correct page.
- exposed filter block in a view with path url node/%/foo and it is a tab
Create a view

It is an online city-specific community that is part social network and part CMS that connects those that need help with those that want to help.

Quick knowledge transfer from experienced Module developer | Wonderlland Labs
I need to ramp up to speed on module development and writing custom extensions to Drupal. I am up to speed on several frameworks from Zend to (ack!) Willing to compensate for a few hours of high level knowledge transfer, in San Francisco. Please contact me at dave@wonderlandlabs.com.
