At the bottom of each proposal, you will find a voting widget. You are encouraged to read and rate each proposal. The following guidelines will help us be consistent when reviewing proposals.
When you rate an application, we would prefer that you also leave a comment about your rating and your reasoning. This is especially true is cases where subject-matter experts are critiquing a proposal or in situations where conflicts of interest may arise.
Rating scale
The system uses a 5-point rating scale, with votes corresponding to:
- 5 == Awesome!!!
- 4 == Recommended
- 3 == Worth Considering
- 2 == Proposal Needs Work
- 1 == Off topic / Unusable

At the end of each [monthly] review period, applications with [10 or more] votes and a rating of [4] or higher will be passed to Knight Foundation for funding review.

(If you aren't in the Knight Drupal Initiative group yet, simply click the join link which will also be in the upper right-hand block for logged in, not-yet-joined people).
