Over the next few months, we are going to be developing the DrupalPGH.Org website in Drupal 7. We will use part of the time in meetings to do the development so people can see the process in action. This Wiki is for discussions of what should be included in the website.
This is a Wiki. Make it a document not a list of comments. If you want to discuss something before adding it to the wiki, visit the discussion page: http://groups.drupal.org/node/126149
You can insert basic HTML formatting but you have to type the tags. Main headings are h2
DRUPAL.ORG
Drupal Version
We will use Drupal 7. This project will be developed over the next few months. Most of the important modules should be ready for D7 by then. It will also delay the need to upgrade a few years.

Design Ideas
OK, start with a Theme. I setup Zero Point to get started, but this is by no means final. Does anyone have a favorite they would like to see? I believe that adding a theme requires FTP, which we have. Tell me and I will set up any theme you suggest.
How about a logo that reflects well on our group as well as the area? Something that would convey a sense of "Pittsburgh: The next big DrupalCon". Any graphics artists out there?
Modules
D7 has a really cool feature that lets you install new modules by providing the url of the tar.gz file. Please consider what modules we want/need. I was thinking Organic Groups. Anything else?
Permissions
I really hope this site will be a group effort, rather than a project of a few. Toward this end, I would be happy to grant admin privileges to anyone wanting to work on the site. So, who should be admins, and who will be authenticated users? What permissions do we grant to whom? Do we want any other roles? Bloggers?
