July Meeting

Hey everyone!

I'm hoping we can have a July meeting haven't been able to line up a speaker lined up. If anyone is interested in speaking please let me know. Alternatively, we could do a purely social night.

I'm heading to the Surrey Drupal meeting tonight from North Vancouver. If anyone wants to grab a ride, drop me a note in the contact form.

What about tacking on a drupal codesprint/hackathon in addition?

  • talk about projects you are working on, and any challenges that you are encountering
  • revive those back-burner projects that have been forgotten
  • review issues/patches

I like the idea of a BBQ.

If we do a code sprint/hack-a-thon my preference is to do it separate from a social (It would be cool to start code nights like they're doing in Seattle and Victoria). Of course people are always welcome to bring their Drupal questions to any Vancouver Drupal event!

oh heck, count me in. :-) is this gonna be a more leisurely afternoon into evening thing or just a regular last thursday night of the month scenario? personally i'd be more into a more leisurely something or other, à la SHDH (superhappy dev house), that was fun...

If we schedule a long period of time starting with a BBQ social, I don't mind hacking ... but otherwise, it'll be BBQ only.

i would really like to finally show up to an event again and a bbq would be a perfect time!!!

been a while since i seen the bman too.

i would love for this to also be a hacking time so i can play more with http://drupy.net :P

i vote starting it off earlier in the afternoon vs the usual 5 / 6 so we have more time to relax :)
