full time people, freelancers, advice?

... but we're hoping to help change that with the ladrupal group. Drupal has reached a stage of maturity where the developers and the code base are really strong, but the community has weaknesses in design and marketing. I am really happy to see that we have quite a few designers coming to our monthly meetups, and would love to encourage more to come back by helping them learn the basics of theming in drupal, and discuss best practices for treatment of graphics (how to prepare/optimize them for theming).

As Chris said, the best thing to do is to come by the meetings and tell people what you're looking for.

I am a designer who is very interested in learning theming and designing for drupal. Keep me posted if there are any meetings on this topic!
