LA Drupal's non-gDo site needs to be spruced up before our DrupalCamp this September. For real.
Those attending the site volunteer (online) meeting or not all have equal chances to update this wiki page, which outlines the goals, features, tasks, persons responsible, and due dates that will mostly be this month (August), because we can't be playing with our site days before the camp. There isn't a whole lot we need to do before September, and those wishing to help some, don't fret, there will be tons of opportunities to contribute post September.
We respect people's personal and work schedules, so let us all be realistic in terms of expectations and our availability to contribute because [LA Drupal] needs the stuff listed

LADrupal.org 2008 Refresh Ideas
Focus: NEWS & UPDATES DESTINATION. The site is meant to compliment our GDO site and give props to our wonderful members by highlighting them, keep folks informed, point people to learning materials and training, pump the job market here in L.A., and be a destination site that exudes a welcome feeling to our new members.
Features & Areas: REP SPONSORS, DONATORS & CONTRIBUTORS, FIRMS & FREELANCERS. PROVIDE LEARNING GUIDANCE (LINKS), SHOW OFF OUR EVENTS & COMMUNITY, VIDEOS, PHOTOS, and Drupal BOOK REVIEWS by LA Drupal members.
Note to current members: There will be an more visible platform for those who are official Drupal Association Individual Members ($35) or Organization Members ($116) - it's really cheap and LA Drupal will be providing more exposure for those who are badged... so go get yours already. http://association.drupal.org/membership
