As I have an upcoming rugby match on sat I was wondering if there we any other, Rugby playing Drupal professionals out there?
What sports do people in this group participate in in general?

In what sports do people participate?
Cycling! Trail & road.
Not a rugger, that's for sure
Howdy Sanguis.
I played baseball for many, many years (competitively in h.s., college & in a local semi-pro league after) & only quit my team when I took a contract gig in another city like 7yrs ago. I also enjoy playing football (soccer) but haven't played it competitively since playing Club soccer in college. The sport I play most nowadays is basketball as I can go by myself & run my drills for a really good workout. I was also a cross-country runner & marathoner many moons ago & am trying to get back into that as it always helped me de-stress. Interested to see what other sports people play, as well.
Btw, I saw another post of yours about how you don't go to a regular gym & are doing MMA-style workouts. Those are HARDCORE! My brother's doing that & I'm thinking of joining him. I was never much of a gym person myself & always preferred doing my own calisthenics & resistance-training. How long have you been doing it? Like it?

MMA gym
I started going the winter durring my off season. and instantly start gaining core strength and more agility.
you can see some of the stuff we do here http://www.facebook.com/pages/Victory-Fitness-and-Nutrition/116352468398... .
Due to time constraints I cant go durring the (rugby) season and I think its hurts my game.
What really nice about the is there is not a lot of isolation in the work out most stations are design to work a huge group of mussels that allow one to just explode with power when they need to.
I would strongly encourage you to checkout out.
No rugby for me ;) (though
No rugby for me ;) (though shockingly enough - I'm 5'1" - it was one of the sports that I actually liked back in the day, when I was still forced to do gym class!). Currently, I generally stick to non-team sports, and things I can do at my own pace/timeline... still building up my health/strength/endurance, it's very slow-going!
Things I do currently:
Things I used to do that I'd really like to get back into:
Activities
I'm also not much of a team sport athlete. Ahh, memories of being picked last...those were the days :)
Some activities I enjoy:
Skiing. Looking forward to hosting the next Drupalcon here in Denver to organize a trip to the mountains. And, yes, to answer your question, the snow is amazing in March ( http://twitter.com/#!/c4rl/status/51787809769537536 pics from 3/26 )
Running. Just really seriously started two years ago, hoping to do my first half-marathon this year, shooting for sub-90:00. Another goal for the year is to get my 5k sub-20:00.
Tri. Another goal for the year is to finish an olympic distance triathlon. Just started swimming this year, have a lot of work to do on my technique. Going to do first sprint tri in May.
Yoga. Been doing this for about two months and I'm hooked.
Road and Mountain biking. Don't mountain as much as I should anymore, but I grew up in Colorado Springs which has amazing terrain. After tax day, I'm saving for a new road bike, and a new mountain bike if I can swing it.
I've been hearing a lot about crossfit lately, and seen some chatter on a few threads. Might look into it at the end of tri season. Always looking for the next challenge.
Rugby
I went out for rugby earlier this year, but injured my knee (sprained MCL) at practice. That put me out for this year. I haven't decided yet if I'm going to give it a go again next year.
So for the time being I'm just doing skydiving, cycling, and scuba diving.
Soccer all the time, occasional Lacrosse, rarely Rugby
There is a lot of soccer nearby, so that is what I play regularly. There are winter and summer Lacrosse leagues that I've played in recently, but not at the moment. I'm a member of the Atlanta Renegades R.F.C. and still play once or twice a year in an match with the Old Renegade Boys Side (ORBS).
