Anyone want to meetup in Asheville?

Hello everyone, I have only been working with drupal for about 3 month now. As you all know the learning curve for drupal can be like a roller coaster ride! I am wondering if there are any of you that live in the Asheville, NC area that would love to get together and talk, play and eat drupal? I would love to make friends with people that know what the heck I'm talking about!

I am in the Boone, NC area (a grad student at Appalachian). Asheville is around 2+ hours for me, so it's not that bad. There's another guy up here who would also potentially be interested.

If I'm not mistaken this is the Drupal Dojo group, a non location specific group for those interested in Drupal.

This is not an Asheville, NC users group!!!

I live in Seattle and I'm sure 95% of the people receiving Dojo emails don't live anywhere near NC and don't want to be kept informed about all y'all's social calendar.

Please, I get enough unwanted email as it is!!! I've been deleting your Dojo posts from my inbox for days now. . .

Seems to me like there are enough of you to get your own group going.

I recently moved to Asheville, but have been doing Drupal consulting for the past 5 years. Would love to get together with other interested folks and talk shop. I've started a new Western North Carolina group that is waiting for approval. I'll post here again when it's live.

Definitely interested in meeting up. I live in east Asheville and am very interested in meeting Drupalers. Just tell me when and where. I would really enjoy going out for beers and talking shop.

I'm actually giving a local 'Meet the Geeks' lunch seminar in Dec. If for some strange reason we don't get to meet up before this, consider showing up. The details on on this website, they ask for RSVP to reserve a seat.
