DC Drupal Meetup, September 22nd at Stetson's

Our monthly Drupal meetup will take place on Monday, September 22nd at 7:15 pm at Stetson's (1610 U Street, NW), and it will be an exciting one. People who were able to attend DrupalCon in Szeged last month will share what they learned and the latest news from the community. We'll also give an update on the Drupal Association's feedback and reaction to our proposal to bring the next DrupalCon to our city and talk about where we are in the process. We'll have time for the standard 5-minute lightening presentations, so if you've been working on something interesting and want to share it with the group, please post about it in the comments and come prepared to talk at the meetup.

We'll meet at the upstairs bar at Stetson's at 7:15 and will start presentations at 7:30 pm. The DC Drupal Meetups are for all levels of Drupalers and users, so if you're new to Drupal or are just interested in learning more about the platform, please come out.

Unfortunately, Monday conflicts with a previous engagement. Sorry to miss this. I look forward to all the emerging news.

Baltimore had a terrific meetup on Wednesday, BTW. (Great event, but we didn't have that cool Drupal airplane!)

Hi everyone. Just a heads up that we'll have a projector tonight, so if you want to show anything off come prepared. The internet is working at Stetsons but it's flaky, so if you want to show anything off please bring a local copy of it too.

I'm getting ready to head that way now. I probably won't be presenting this month, but definitely will next time around. I WILL be bringing a few PBS Engage laptop stickers for anyone who would like one (PBS.org/engage is built on Drupal)
