Well, we haven't had a meet-up in around 4 months. And, I would like to set-up a meet-up to get things possibly going again within this group. I am willing to do a topic on my Google Summer of Code Project on Drupal (Validation API). I understand there were two others from this group in the GSoC (kyle_mathews and jtsnow) that may want to add into my presentation as well. Plus, maybe we could have someone present one of their recent Drupal websites (kmillecam just talked about working in the Novell's Drupal Community and amariotti got a lot of comments about the Davis Applied Technology College project). Hopefully, I am not putting pressure on any of you to actually commit to do anything, but your topics would be very interesting.
I want to hear everyone's feedback on the interest in another meet-up. I would assume that we would be meeting up on a Saturday morning again, since that seemed to be the best time for the majority. Also, I am assuming that we would be meeting in SL County as well. We might be able to get a location like SLCC or Sandy Library again, as well. However, I would be willing to go to Utah or Davis County if there is enough support. Lets hear the feedback.

I want to connect with the local drupal ninjas in an attempt to create a working relationship. I am fully aware of all the benefits of Drupal and want to discuss options with regrds to drupal development.

Let's set a date and see
Let's set a date and see what kind of interest we get. How about Oct. 11th? That gives us a few weeks to free up the calendar. I like meeting again in Salt Lake County, the library worked well for us, but SLCC could work also.
Thanks,
Chuck
oct 11 works for me
I'd be happy to do a short presentation as well on my GSoC project, memetracker.

Oct 11th is good for me.
Oct 11th is good for me. Quick Overview of what we could plan for the meeting. This is not strict guideline, more of a suggestion:
15 minutes - Introductions for everyone.
15 minutes - My GSoC project
15 minutes - Kyle's project
15 minutes - Presentation about someone's recent Drupal-driven website.
30 minutes to 1 hour - Informal Drupal discussion. Any topic, any current projects, anything Drupal-related.
Anyone else interested in
Anyone else interested in attending or presenting? If not, I am not going to pursue this meeting.
Sorry I didn't make it to
Sorry I didn't make it to the meet-up. We moved into my parents house over the weekend and for those that have had the experience of moving know what I mean by it was a busy weekend. I'll for sure be there for the next one.
