Capital Camp is fast approaching in just 5 more weeks!

So, have you signed up to attend and have you voted on the sessions to be offered?

I of course have one specific one I'm partial to, but then again, this is a government group, so it just seems fitting.

If you're not local to DC but are planning to pop into town, you might want to check out Trubates. They're running a nice special for a B&B near a metro and lots of restaurants (Columbia Heights neighborhood). For $79 a night (tax inclusive), you could have a really nice place to crash.

Feel free to post in comments about other housing options or deals in the area.

Why pay for dinner when you can have it for free? FREE??!! you ask? Yes, that is what I said. (read Free for some Drupal tutoring)

What?
My girlfriend and I are struggling entrepreneurs looking to finally launch our site with Drupal. We have been working for about a year on the site and while we are very happy with the progress are still stumped by some seemingly easy fixes to our code base. Specifically with the modules "userpoints", "rules", and "ubercart"

Why?
While we can't afford to pay a developer as of yet, we can afford to make nice dinners on occasion. Especially when the occasion is for someone that may be able to help us code our site. Besides developers have to eat sometime, so why not eat a home cooked meal?

What's the catch?
You will provide us with basic tutoring in Drupal on module development, server configuration(scaling), and any suggestions you feel are relevant. While we can't afford a Drupal developer we can make you a nice meal, hell we will even take suggestions. You want a beer? You got a beer. You want Duck Salad, that's wierd but sure. You want all-you-can-eat sushi? Hmm, no.

I don't know...
Most folks will be coming from out of town to enjoy wonderful airline fare, not to mention most people won't have their mother there to cook their dinners for them. Enter myself and my girlfriend. We take food and entrepreneurship seriously and we can offer you a better deal than some crummy hole-in-the-wall snack.

Send us a message to dan at volunbeer dot com if you are interested!
