So March in DC can be pretty crisp, but it will be nice to get back to the east coast. Anyone else going?

BTW, there's no subway from Dulles Airport (IAD) to downtown, so cab or bus. Once inside the beltway the Metro is pretty good for getting around.

Yup

I will definitely be going. Looking forward to it, never been to DC before.

Me too. Just

Me too. Just registered!

Heyrocker, the museums are great. I hope you make some extra time to tour the city.

Robin

I'll definitely be going. Although it figures... I just moved here 2 months ago from the DC area. Why didn't they have it in DC last year??

FYI, check for tickets to BWI as well as Dulles and National. BWI is about as close to the District as Dulles is, and tickets are often cheaper because it's a Southwest hub.

ksenzee, what is the local

ksenzee, what is the local transportation like from BWI to DC?

Thanks
Audrey

For those who haven't bought airfare yet, check Farecast.com and fly into DCA (Reagan National) (metro stop by the airport, blueline to take you downtown).

Or take Virgin America and get WiFI on the plane (maybe)

Virgina America flights go through SFO, but cheap tickets (around $350) and WiFi might make the connection worth it.
