Hello everyone,

Here are the minutes as I have them down. Please add or correct as you see fit.

Minutes

  • Online payment: open registration and hold off on accepting online payment for now. If we get a NEQ before the camp consider offering this as an option.
  • Budget: updated and made public here.
  • Budget: suggestion that we aim to be budget neutral or better. Tabled until full board available.
  • Budget: revised using 200 attendees as an estimate.
  • Food: consider a 2nd vendor for day 2 to add variety
  • Sponsorship: platinum sponsors will be considered sponsors throughout year at other Montreal events
  • Sponsorship: gold sponsors can have named BOF rooms
  • Sponsorship: Andrew to send list of last year's sponsors to board
  • Website: Up and under review. Aiming to go live before end of week.
  • Website: Louis-Eric and Jacques to verify, assist with translation.
  • Books: manning, apress, local bookstores suggested
  • Video: agreed that demo of new McGill picture-in-picture product acceptable
  • Video: affirmed--$2200 an acceptable expense if not due until after the camp. Andrew to confirm and then run by board before issuing PO.
  • Video: determine if BG image can be altered. McGill or Neutral or custom branding acceptable.
  • i18n: Louis-Eric to check with Nottman House
