FYI, some errors are showing randomly on the new web site : warning: mkdir() [function.mkdir]: File exists in /var/shared/sites/drupalcampmontreal/site/sites/all/modules/contrib/imagecache/imagecache.module on line 555.

User registration issue?

I have tried to create an account on the DrupalCamp site but never got the validation email. Could the server have an issue with sending emails? Or is it just me?

Bonjour à vous,

Je viens de visiter le site Web et je me suis rendu compte que la version française méritait une révision et qu'il restait plusieurs éléments à traduire. Si vous avez besoin d'aide, il me ferait plaisir de contribuer!

Dans un autre ordre d'idées, il serait intéressant d'ajouter sur le site de DrupalCamp une page Crédits qui mentionnerait l'ensemble des contributions effectuées sur le site. Cela inciterait peut-être les gens à contribuer davantage.

J'attends de vos nouvelles.

Hello everyone,

The minutes from last night's meeting are as follows. Please feel free to add or correct as you see fit.

Andrew

Minutes

  • Video: will not require a PO as expected. Payment due Oct. 15th. Andrew to proceed with booking and inquire about changing background image.
  • Website: Needed: posts, session proposals, tweets. Frederique, Jacques and Louis-Eric to take on translation. EW to review perms and add option for personal sponsorship at $50.00.
  • T-shirt/Poster design: Does Koumbit want to take this on? If not, Andrew will see if McGill resources can be used.
  • Promotion: en/fr promotional text to be finalized tomorrow and posted on g.d.o by Simone. Andrew to add blurb on g.d.o page. Andrew to send to Montreal Techwatch. Andrew to post call for educational sessions on g.d.o. education groups.
  • Berlin: Andrew to contact Berlin regarding collaboration.
  • BBQ: $100 subsidy for upcoming W.E.B. BBQ. Approved in principle, with the understanding that more Montreal Drupal Association board members are required to do a final vote.
  • Sponsorship. Lack of progress with sponsorship identified as a significant issue. Andrew to start dialogue through listserv to determine how to move things forward.
  • Next meeting: With 5 weeks left, weekly meetings make sense. Next to be held at Nottman house, 6pm, August 10th.

First... Ooops, I missed last night's meeting. Sorry.

Second, I would like to offer my help in contacting sponsors. Obviously, if we don't get enough we'll have to consider raising the entrance fee a little.
