Drupal mentors or classes?

Hi--

I'm wondering if there are any Drupal mentors out there who can help a beginner with specific issues. I've got a couple of sites up and running, but I'm having trouble with customization, and frankly just don't know enough to make it work. Or am getting stuck on what are probably simple roadblocks. I'm willing to pay for it, not looking for a freebie.

I haven't found message boards too helpful, because they usually assume a level of familiarity and skill that I don't have.

I'm not looking for someone to take over, I'm just trying to learn more and get past some problems and frustrations with getting the site to look and behave the way we'd like it to.

Yes, I went to the co work last time. Couldn't make the meetings because I teach thursday evening.

Also feel a bit overwhelmed and intimidated with my simple basic issues to be bothering people with. ;-)

I'm a n00b and I found SeaDUG incredibly helpful. Everyone is very friendly and helpful.

Groups.drupal.org is a part of the drupal.org group of sites. Logging in on this site requires an account on the main drupal.org site. If you do not have an account on drupal.org, you will need to create one, log in over there, and then come back here where you should automatically be logged in.
