Did drupal.org just die? I can´t access it at all from various browsers & my connection´s solid. Wondering if it´s downtime for the site redesign or something.
It came back shortly. Other sites were ok, so not my connection. Been a long time since I last saw D.O. unavailable (used to be quite common a year or so ago).
Drupal core was being updated to 6.7. Pity we don't have a mirror site to switch over to during brief downtimes such as this, but hey, that'd be twice the hardware and twice the cost.
Of course, you'd never know about the version upgrade because it was announced on d.o's homepage, which you can't see! :-) I only knew what was going on because of IRC chats and the security team's mailing list announcement. ______________________________

It came back, literally, 2 minutes after I posted this. I quickly noticed how 6.7 was available & realized the site must´ve been getting updated.
When I was in charge of releasing builds to production @ Ticketmaster, we had to have an infrastructure to handle zero downtime. I´m thinking since updates for d.o only occur once in a while, it´s not as big a deal (not to mention the added cost mentioned by Senpai). Chances are the downtime we saw was just the stop/restarting of the needed services on the server. I can live w/that, it´s not like it was down that long. :)
Groups.drupal.org is a part of the drupal.org group of sites. Logging in on this site requires an account on the main drupal.org site. If you do not have an account on drupal.org, you will need to create one, log in over there, and then come back here where you should automatically be logged in.
d.o works fine for me
Works fine for me...perhaps too much site traffic?
I experienced an outage too
