Special Celebrity Montréal Drupal Meetup

2009-01-12 18:00 - 20:00 Canada/Eastern On a special Monday edition of our January monthly meetups (Jan. 12, 6pm - 8pm), Drupal superstar Karoly "chx" Negyesi will be joining us, which probably means some Drupal 7 patch review stuff. I'll also have a couple of copies of Using Drupal to give away to people who participate. :)
The meetup will be hosted by our friends Evolving Web, at their office office at 3630 Blvd. St-Laurent (http://evolvingweb.ca/contact-us).

Screen projector

Thanks Jacques! We actually got a projector recently... we heard it was the key to a successful Drupal meetup ;)
We don't have a screen, but it works alright against the wall.
A question - will I need to bring a laptop?
I have about an hour to travel by public transit. That's a long way to go with a laptop bag. So, is it necessary, or can I let it stay home?

It''s not required, so feel free to leave it at home. However, you won't be able play around with any code or anything then. At least bring some paper and a pen to take some notes.

I'm really disappointed to have only found this now! Any future meet-ups in sight?
