Hello everyone,
I recently moved here from Vancouver and am looking to meet some local Drupal developers. I'm still fairly new to Drupal, but am learning more every day. I'm currently working on my new personal site, as well as another small project.
Would anyone be interested in getting together for coffee to chat, or perhaps organizing something a bit larger and more formal like a meetup? I'm curious to hear about other people's experiences with Drupal and what they are working on. According to Michael Lechasseur, we could continue to meet in the space at Artengine in Arts Court.
If anyone is interested, let me know.
Cheers,
Sean

Drupal Users Group
There's usually one that's been organized monthly. I haven't been able to attend in a while, but I can certainly try to get folks there.
Why not pick a time/place & create an event for it. It's usually easy to meet downtown & it's great if the Arts Court is open.
If you find a time after work that might make it easier for some folks.

Summer's over
Now that the summer's over, and folks are back around, we should get these going again. mlecha, care to coordinate with the building to set one up for October? I personally can't do Mondays or Wednesdays though.
Tuesday Oct 4th at 7pm?
Confirming availability of space.
FYI - Location
Modis Canada has offered free use of it's board room facilities (even for after hours meet-ups) - Its quite central given they're at Queen and O'Connor.
Just a suggestion ;)

Next meetup
Just checking in now, was there an Ottawa meetup held on October 4th, or is there a new date? I'd be interested in a meetup.
October Meet up
Yes, we met on October 4th at Artengine's lab in Arts Court. We looked at the Omega theme for mobile phones. A November meet up sounds good to me. Any suggestions on topics?
Best day of the week to meet
I created a poll over at http://groups.drupal.org/node/182329. Please go & vote! :)
Topic idea
I'd be very interested in any discussions on how to hire good local Drupal talent.
