Drupal Multisite + WHM
Has anyone successfully setup Drupal multisite with WHM where each drupal site is a separate WHM account?
I am working on a project that requires this setup so that each drupal site can have their own email addresses etc so the normal multisite setup with domain parking is not suitable. I was planning to overwrite the virtual hosts that whm creates and change the doc root to the shared code base. Each drupal site would have it's own separate database in it's cpanel account.

Haven't done it with cPanel but I've done exactly this with Webmin and Virtualmin (which are open source analogs of cPanel and WHM, respectively). I've been thinking of doing a walkthrough at a local meetup where it can be recorded.
My only advice with cPanel is to be sure to install it on a clean server (or VPS) that hasn't already been set up with vhosts, user accounts, etc.

Yes, this will be on a server only for these drupal sites. If you could share any your current setup it would be greatly appreciated. It would be very valuable and I'm sure it could be used/ported for WHM/Cpanel.

My session went well at the last LA Drupal meetup but unfortunately it wasn't recorded. I'm presenting it again at this weekend's DrupalCamp in San Diego and I'll do everything I can to have it recorded this time.

I just got the footage from my presentation at SANDCamp and now the only person I'm waiting for in order to get the video posted is myself. Unfortunately, with Drupalcon and Engage (a conference about virtual worlds, goods, economies, etc.) coming up, I don't know when I'll be able to get to it.
Have you seen the discussion about Drupal and cPanel at http://groups.drupal.org/node/19161 ? Much of it is analogous to WHM, Virtualmin, etc. since they all work on top of Apache.
Video?
Great presentation topic Christefano. I would like to see the video. Did you had time to post it somewhere?

I was curious if you had time to sort out the video. Do you think you would be publishing a how to on this topic anytime soon?
If not, do you have resources that you used to get it started you could share with us?
Sounds like I need webmin and virtualmin
but I'm no sys admin. If somebody has experience with this, my client might be willing to have you install this on our dedicated host account. Let me know if you're interested in this.
