You get 5 minutes and 20 slides or less to show the group anything Drupal related. Could be a project you just finished, or a new module you love, or a new module you hate. Sign up by leaving a comment. We're looking for 7 people. Let's get people thinking and participating! I'm guessing I will take one of these spots, so think fast and post your comment for your lightening talk!

Might be interesting to talk
Might be interesting to talk about how to help out cleaning up an issue queue or talking about the documentation style guide and how people can help out with documentation.
I'd be happy to do a lighting talk on what i have learned about ubercart

Upcoming Conferences/Camps/Fests
I see you have planning for our April 2-day camp on the agenda -- good!
There are a number of other conferences in the area coming up, so we might want to discuss whether we would like to have a presence there, and if so, what type:
* LinuxFest Northwest, April 25-26, http://linuxfestnorthwest.org/
* New FOSS conference in Portland coming up on June 17-19: http://opensourcebridge.org/ - this conference was developed because the O'Reilly OSCon is not in Portland this year, and Portland folks wanted to have a con. OSCon is happening in I think San Diego (or is it San Jose?) at the same time.
* The Vancouver PHP Association is having Open Web Vancouver http://www.openwebvancouver.ca/ on June 11-12.
* I'm not sure when Drupal Camp Vancouver is happening. Last year it was in June (I think?)
* Portland just announced they are having their Drupal camp in August.

Vancouver
I talked to Ariane, one of the organizers of last year's Vancouver camp, and she said that there is talk of having camp there in May, but there doesn't seem to be much happening that is very solid.
hey - just saw this fly by -
hey - just saw this fly by - i'm not organizing this year so don't take my word on any of this, as far as i know dale http://groups.drupal.org/user/171 is the one who has been working on this, but being that i haven't heard much and what i heard was re: may (which is really soon now), i'm not really sure that much is going on with the planning... personally i really hope for it to happen later in the summer if we do have one this year (july?), as there is already a lot going on this spring! but if anyone wants any solid answers, you should probably just contact dale and ask him what's up. :-)
Contacted Dale
I sent Dale a note; will report back when I hear back; posting here so hopefully not everyone will contact him.

Linuxfest Northwest
I'll be there talking about Linuxfest Northwest. We're hoping to fill one room for drupal talks both Saturday and sunday. We could get more rooms as well if there is demand for it.
Linuxfest Presentations so
Linuxfest Presentations so far:
Ryan Dempsey "What, no Images in Drupal?!"
Andrea Peterson "Getting Started with Drupal"
Topics I'd love to hear
So last night got me thinking about what sort of topics I'd love to hear about that were a bit beyond "Installing drupal 101". But just to throw a couple of things I'd love to hear:
Anyway just to throw those ideas out before I forget em ...
Mark
Great ideas!
These could definitely be topics for our October camp, or for LinuxFest presentations, or the next mini-camp.
I just started a page to collect suggestions, so we'll have them all in one place:
http://seattle.drupal-camp.org/page/suggestions
I've taken the liberty of adding your suggestions above to that page. Hope that's OK...
