Lets get it out there at least 2 weeks prior to get the meetup.com crowd sourcing effect.
I can help put these up... just need to make sure we got a location with KWALL. We can fall back to my office if need be but i need a week or so notice to make sure we got the space available.
Also do we have the main topic list we voted on a while back? I think someone at KWALL took that down.... maybe we should poll the group?

Hey there. Yes we have the use of KWALL for the 18th. As for the poll, good idea but people rarely respond to those why I quit on that idea. Its better just to come up with topics and schedule it. Having presenters lined up is also ideal or at least having a few willing to give short lightning talks.
I'll try and look for the list. I don't believe anyone took it down but rather it is in a thread for a meetup somewhere. The topics were really general though and we can create a topic list from chapters out of a Drupal book.
I definitely can use your assistance in organizing the meetups (or anyone reading this who attends). Just let me know what area you want to help out in. You have access to meetup.com so feel free to post an event there even if it just a "save the date" posting if I am falling behind.

I can do a 15-20min presentation on theming
Theming always seems like a topic that needs to be covered and tends to entice the intermediate crowd.
I can present on:
- creating a subtheme
- template_suggestions
- adding CSS and JS the Drupal way
- debugging theme issues
Installing Drush should be covered as well. I get this question all the time in the IRCs.
- Different install environments
I can help organize the topics monthly.

Great and thanks for presenting. Any help will be appreciated and can discuss at the meetup. I am thinking about setting a date / time monthly where those interested can meet on irc to quickly discuss topics, presentations, and such .Will have to see how that goes tho.
