Come by Notman House on February 23 at 6pm for our next meetup! Following the success of our January meetup, we'll have 3-4 presenters talk about an exciting project, module or whatever else they're working on. Add your ideas in the comments.
Please note that there's another meetup happening in the cafe of Notman that evening, so we'll be meeting in the room behind and above the cafe (I'll make signs!).

I can present on an Apache Solr UI we've been building in Drupal 7. It's not launched yet, but we'll definitely have something live by Thursday.
Not a presentation per se but...
I wonder if I could initiate a short brainstorm centered on the various approaches for implementing a 'complex' multilevel classification?
The way I see it, I would spend a few minutes talking about the context, show samples of a hierarchical taxonomy, state the issues and spell out the desired outcome. Open discussion would follow.

... and so is quite hidden at this point. Eventually, it would be good to revise/improve the organisation of this space (again)... even if the functionality of g.d.o. is somewhat limiting (to put it mildly).
At the very least it would be nice to order the events by event-date and not publication date.

It was a good meet-up
15 people showed up, including many people I had never met. The presentations were decent and the discussions were interesting. A bunch of people went out afterwards for some food and drinks.
