Start:
2012-02-28 13:00 - 14:00 America/Los_Angeles Organizers:
Our next weekly Documentation Office Hours will be a discussion of how we can push forward with the plans for the "Curated Docs". Other Documentation Infrastructure discussions would also be welcome, but I'd like to concentrate on the Curated Docs. Please sign in and join the discussion!
See above for the time (hopefully in your time zone; if not, check your user profile). The discussion will take place in the #drupal-docs IRC channel.
Background:
- Plan/specs for curated docs (this plan also includes the idea of making this be the Help system for within Drupal sites
- Plan for documentation infrastructure in general
- Drupal Association 2012 priority: make d.o awesome for site builders (which includes documentation)
- Issue for creating the curated docs section

Report on meeting - programming help needed!
It looks like not too many people were both interested and able to make it to the meeting -- too bad, it was a lively discussion!
Anyway, the summary of the meeting conclusions are that:
a) I edited http://drupal.org/node/1095012 to make it clearer what is phase 1/2/3
b) We can probably do phase 1 using content types instead of D7 entities, on drupal.org.
c) We will need some help to do this - notably:
- A module that will allow project maintainers on drupal.org to designate who can add/edit their docs, and enforce those permissions with hook_node_access().
- A port of the conditional text module to Drupal 6
If anyone would like to help out on this, post here!!
