Someone in my organization was asking about Drupal training in Ottawa (he was signed up for a course this month with icourseottawa but it was cancelled).
Anybody know of other Drupal training in Ottawa, or good online options?

Drupal Training
I offer one on one training - or small groups - but it depends entirely on what you need.
Can you offer more details?

Try Open Concept
I recommend contacting Mike Gifford at Open Concept (http://www.openconcept.ca). They're a Drupal development shop so I'm not sure if they also do training. If not, I'm sure he could recommend someone to you. I'm not sure if it's relevant to you (if you're in Ottawa, it's likely) but they have strong expertise in accessibility, government and non-profit.
Hope this helps
Cheers

Training Requirements
Thanks Bill!
Lee, really glad you reached out on GDO to try to get some feedback. We don't really have time to think about this till April, but did want to raise a couple points in general.
Drupal's a pretty complex tool. Drupal training can mean everything from basic use of CKEditor to doing security reviews. Knowing the audience is always a pretty critical part of a successful delivery. Drupal 6 or Drupal? WET Framework? Intranet?
I do find that one on one training is usually the most effective, but it's often much more expensive (least up-front). Training in a classroom context does take a lot more time to organize and is inevitably not as targeted to the needs of the participants. That being said, if you've got a hundred people to train, it might be the more effective than simply recording a series of screen-casts.
Lee, I'm sure you'd do a stellar job (you certainly know Drupal), but sometimes it's useful to have an external consultant involved.

Evolving Web is doing an intro Drupal training in Ottawa on May 18th at the Hub http://evolvingweb.ca/drupal-day-training-ottawa-may-18 . If we get a good turnout, we'll probably set up another one-day Drupal for Developers course sometime in the coming months. I'm also working on a multilingual Drupal curriculum which would also seem like a good fit for the Ottawa crowd.
Drupal for Developers
I'd be interested in the "Drupal for Developers" course if that works out. I can also provide meeting space with Wifi and projector.
