June Drupal Meetup

2009-06-03 06:30 America/Montreal Evolving Web is hosting a Drupal Meetup on June 3rd at 6:30pm. Come and share your latest thoughts and news. Hope to see you all there!
The meetup will be at our office: 300 Rue du Saint-Sacrement, Suite 204 in the Old Port. It's near the Place d'Armes and Square Victoria metro stops (http://evolvingweb.ca/contact-us).
PS: We've hired three talented McGill students as summer interns.... come and impress them with the awesomeness of the Drupal Community!

@a.lecca: It's kind of ad-hoc. But usually someone gets up and does a presentation, and afterwards we just sit around and talk about random Drupal stuff. People ask questions on stuff they've had issues with, people show off cool sites/modules they've built, etc.

nice hearing from you! I just might be able to come, if I can get out of another engagement (might be a bit late, though). I would love to be there. By the way we launched the beta of our Qumbia.ca website last Thursday (it allows our clients to automatically set up their Drupal site on our server), and it's working out nicely for us (up to now!).

Looking forward to another well-attended meetup hosted by Evolving Web!
a.lecca, it used to be that at every meetup at their old office we'd enjoy a few beers and participated in more of a round-table discussion format. Hopefully we can strike a balance between that and the formal presentation style that has been justifiably necessary to showcase some of the very neat stuff that Evolving Web and other members of the community have been up to!
