If any of you use Media and Media Youtube, I'm going to be working on a patch to update it, remove cruft, and make it responsive technique friendly. If anyone's interested in joining, we could have a little mini sprint.
remove some cruft and no longer needed js hacks, and do some small alterations to make it friendly to responsive css and third party js plugins (specifically FitVids, but should help across the board). Afterwards, I'd like to write up the reasoning for the changes, and add it to Media docs as a best practices for writing a responsive-technique friendly Media family module. I talked to the maintainer Aaron on IRC today, and he's down with the changes.
If anyone wants to jump in and schedule a little mini sprint, I'd be grateful for more heads and hands. Testing afterwards would also be helpful. I'm thinking maybe next weekend, two hours at an office or cafe.
