Minutes

  • Facilities: room reservations adjusted to 8-6 for all except biggest which will be 8 to 9.
  • WIFI: Andrew to contact McGill IT
  • Projectors: we need to find two extra projectors. We can rent these from McGill or volunteer to bring them.
  • Site: We need to have a site up and be accepting $ for registration along with session proposals right away. andrew to contact EW to see if access/assistance can be granted to move this forward in their absence. PayPal is preferred for intake of funds.
  • Tracks: aim for 5 x 6 slots, reduce if not enough sessions.
  • General Assembly: to be held in a session slot. Membership offered at reg desk.
  • Party: Andrew to contact Bloodshot Bill as possible musical guest. Andrew to contact Thompson house to see if they are still willing.
  • Door Prizes: Matt to contact publishers. Andrew to pass on info.
  • Shirts: Matt to ask Jenny about design. should be ordered 3 weeks in advance
  • Keynote: Omar to contact Mihael Geist, Amitaibu.
  • Sprint: Ryan to contact Gabor with i18n as possible focus.
  • Food: Palmiera (require 2 weeks notice)
  • Cofee: Brossard
  • Video: Fahim may be able to bring in gear to record keynote
