Help getting an important patch committed?

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.

Hey everybody. Following on the last message poking at when this group might meet again, I am hoping somebody from our very civilized group of people might respond here since in person may be a bit out yet. Hopefully the reason there aren't meetings is because it's summer and there was a lot of volunteer time doing the DrupalCamp.

The sqlsrv Drupal module was written by the Commerce Guys, from what I can tell a very active group in the Drupal ecosystem. My guess was that they may have been paid to write this, and then the project ended and they walked away because there have been no comments by them this year. The 7.14 security update to drupal came and went and now the 7.15 bug fix and all windows users are stuck because the sqlsrv module which has the pdo driver for sql server has a bug.

I created a patch and a few have now tested the patch and all seems well for both 7.14 and 7.15. Any suggestions of how to reach a dormant maintainer? One unhappy user has cross posted to the Commerce Guy's web site and the Drupal Windows user group.

Thanks Aaron. In this case the maintainer did come around, and even apologized for the delay. And accepted my patch ;-)

But that is a good link to keep around.

I seem to remember you from the one and only user group meeting i went to in madison last year, hopefully those will kick off again. I would most likely7 go to a september meeting as I have a number of questions to ask and would like to meet more of the local people
