It's in the Central City Mall just one block south of the Surrey Central Skytrain station. They have good food and free wireless. Not too many power outlets so bring your laptops charged up.
Bring your laptops and your Drupal projects. We are going to meet at Boston Pizza at Central City Mall for a co-work event. You can work on individual projects and chit chat or have small group tutorial sessions on Drupal theming, for example.
As Dale wrote, "You are welcome to come with your laptops, problems, questions and skills (everyone is a learner and a teacher)"

I'm not sure how much work
I'm not sure how much work we'll get done in that Boston Pizza, as it's kinda tight and loud. But the eating will be good!
I was at that Boston Pizza
I was at that Boston Pizza last Thursday and it was quiet from 3pm till about 7:30pm. At 7:30pm the front section started filling up. But until then my Drupal tutor, Ryan Weal, and I got lots of work done.
Yesterday, I was there again for an appointment. The music was a bit loud but the restaurant was not busy. Hopefully, we can ask the staff to turn down the music for us.
We plan to work from 3:30 - 6:30 and then we'll break for supper and socializing. We can break into groups that want to keep working and groups that want to chat.

Thank you to everyone who came out to the Surrey Drupal co-work event. I was able to get some tough theming questions answered by Drupal guru, Ryan Dempsey. Thanks Ryan.
Andrew got there first and scored a good booth with a power bar. So we could power up our laptops. When more people arrived,
we moved to larger area and put some tables together. My laptop battery powered down just in time for dinner. Good service, good food, good socializing and I got some work done on a client project that launched successfully Yesterday. Check out www.joliemama.com.
I hope to have another Surrey Drupal co-work event soon. We could always meet at the ABC restaurant in Fleetwood. We would have a separate meeting room there. with lots of space and power outlets. We could arrange to pick up people from the Skytrain. If you need a ride, let us know.
