Here are my notes from last night's meeting. Please feel free to add or correct them in the comments below.

Minutes

• Positions: President - Matt Corks, Vice President - Omar Bickell, Treasurer -Suzanne Kennedy, Secretary - Andrew Lindsay, Outreach - Pierre-Paul Lebreve
• Official Papers: Pierre-Paul to update, Andrew to provide code and other relevant info.
• Notman House Donation: $500 once all sponsorships are in.
• PayPal: create 2nd bank account to tie to PayPal to reduce risk of misuse. Pay upcoming bills with PayPal money including money outstanding to Koumbit (Andrew to arrange with Suzanne)
• Banking: Suzanne to book appointment to update signatories
• Concerns related to bilingualism: board will endeavour to have translations posted within 48hrs on g.d.o. General agreement that the more initiates there are to grow the local community the better.
• Drupalcamp 2012 +/-: Positive - steady content in French. Lots of bang for the $20.00 ticket. Could do with improvement: Code sprint lacked leadership. BOFFs were neglected and sequestered away in a far off room. Suggestion that an hour be devoted to BOFFs. Poor statistics gathering on registration--not enough info gathered to be useful in strategizing for next year. Website needed to be up at least a month sooner. Translation services at event (whisper or otherwise) were limited. Some folks wondered--why are prices so low?
• Suggestions for Drupalcamp 2013: Cory Doctorow or Michael Geist as possible keynotes. Dries as a French keynote. Friday evening, all day Saturday as a format. Symphony as a keynote topic. Pierre-Paul to explore UQAM as a location. Andrew to look at options around McGill. Suggested date - Mid October, 2013.
• Financials: We essentially broke event and will be sitting on slightly less than $4000 once all sponsorship money comes in.
• Drupalcamp 2013 website: Pierre-Paul and Robin have volunteered. Andrew suggested McGill staff to handle design. Matt suggested Jenny at Koumbit to handle design (with some amount of compensation).
• Drupal Association Website: tabled until next meeting.
• 2013 Codesprint ideas: config mangement, Drupal 8 core, Drupal commons, media module, entity translation, performance.
• Upcoming meetings: Social - December 14th, Board meeting January 16th. Ryan to post.

• Don à la Maison Notman: $500 quand nous aurons reçu l'argent des commanditaires
• PayPal: créer un 2e compte PayPal pour réduire les risques d'abus. Payer les prochaines factures avec l'argent PayPal, incluant transactions avec Koumbit (Andrew et Suzanne vont se coordonner)
• Banque: Suzanne va prendre un rendez-vous pour mettre à jour les signataires
• Préoccupations quant au bilinguisme: le CA (en particulier, Robin) s'engage à publier les traductions sur GDO dans les 48h. Il y a consensus autour de l'idée que plus d'initiatives il y aura pour accroitre la communauté mieux ce sera
• Drupalcamp 2012 +/-: Positif - contenu français plus régulier. Excellente valeur pour un ticket à $20. Négatif, pistes pour améliorer: le Code sprint a souffert d'un manque de leadership. Les BOFs ont été négligés, mis à l'écart dans une pièce trop loin. On suggère de dédier une heure aux BOF, soit avant ou après le dîner. Nous n'avons pas obtenu assez de statistiques à l'inscription -- pas assez d'information pour en faire usage dans nos stratégies pour l'an pochain. Le site web aurait dû être en ligne un mois avant. Les services de traductions simultanés aux événements (chuchottement ou autres) étaient limités. Des gens se demandaient, pourquoi le prix est-il si bas?
• Suggestions pour Drupalcamp 2013: Cory Doctorow ou Michael Geist comme potentiels invités d'honneur (keynote). Dries comme invité d'honneur francophone. Format suggéré: Vendredi soir + samedi complet. Symfony comme invité d'honneur (keynote). Pierre Paul va explorer l'UQAM comme endroit. Andrew regarde les options à McGill, au cas. Date suggérée: mi-octobre 2013
• Finances: Le dernier camp a atteint le seuil de rentabilité et nous aurons environ 4000$ en banque quand l'argent de tous les commanditaires sera déposé
• site web du Drupalcamp 2013: Pierre-Paul et Robin se sont portés volontaires. Andrew a suggéré des employés McGill pour le design. Matt a suggéré Jenny de Koumbit pour le design (avec compensation monétaire).
• Site web de l'Association Drupal Association: repoussé à la prochaine rencontre.
• Idées de Codesprint 2013: CMI (initiative de gestion de configurations), Drupal 8 (coeur), Drupal Commons, Media module, Entity translation module, performance.
