Time again for a DUG meetup in Salt Lake. We will be holding it at the Walker Center on the North East corner of 200 S and Main St. Signs will be placed to direct you on how to get up to the conference room where we will be (usually by calling to have someone come let you in). The entrance is on the West side of the building off of Main Street. If you are there at 7:00pm we usually wait for a few minutes for people to show up before we enter. Note that the doors are locked and most people around the building will not know about a meeting. We meet on the 11th floor in The American Academy offices, but most will be reluctant to let you up the elevators so look for a phone number on the doors.
You can park in the Walker Center parking garage (it will cost about $4) or at the Carl's Jr. (if you purchase something). If you ride TRAX you can get off at the Gallivan Center station (the Walker Center is about a block north of that station). Both the Sandy (blue) and West Valley (green) lines go to this station.
Like last time, we'll plan to use Google+ Hangouts for those who wish to attend but can't make it downtown. We'll post here and on IRC with the information.

These instructions are massively insufficient. I wandered around for an hour looking for you guys. No one in the Walker Center had a clue what I was talking about, and they all claimed there was no conference center.

I apologize. The doors of the building are locked. I place signs on the front door along with my phone number so that you can call or send me a message to get up. We meet at an office inside of the building so I wouldn't expect anyone within The Walker Center or around the building to know anything about it. There isn't anything more I can really put here. I guess I'll add that we're on the 11th floor so it's better for next time, but my number is always on the front door.

But not on the front door of The Walker Center? As I said, I walked around the building for quite some time. I'm not sure if your sign fell down or what, but at the front door to the Walker Center, the one where it says "Walker Center" over it and big glowing letters in the back that say "Walker Center" there was nothing directing me where to go or who to call :/ The elevator also only had 10 floors

I just went down and grabbed both the signs - they were both still there. I'm guessing that you were on the South side of the building. The signs were on the main entrance on the West side of the building. I've updated my instructions so next time hopefully everyone can find it.

I guess I was on the wrong side. I walked around the whole outside a couple times and didn't see the signs though I was looking for them... Oh well :/
