Please make sure you submit your sessions for Drupal Camp by this Sunday, October 4th at midnight!

Voting will remain open until Thursday, October 8th at midnight. On October 9th, we'll post the schedule of sessions for the camp.

You can view a list of all the proposed sessions here: http://drupalcampmontreal.com/sessions. If you haven't done so already, you'll have to register for the site before you can create or vote on sessions.

umm... a little awkward but...

I just got a phone call from an org that would like to sponsor but wanted to add a session (and we are past the deadline)... We are in dire need of sponsors, so my instinct was to say yes... although I also realise that just because sessions are listed, doesn't mean that they'll actually happen. So Im a little stuck... not sure what to do with this.

Works for me

I don't have a problem with them being added to the list. I think they should be subject to voting like all others though.

I can turn the "Create new

I can turn the "Create new session" perm back on for authenticated users. Your account still has the permission to add new sessions, too. Just let me know.

Sounds fine to me

In my opinion late session submissions would be fine, although this organization will have to understand that the longer they wait, the less time people will have to vote for their proposal.

So open it up?

Those who have commented so far all seem to agree that late sessions are not really a problem except that there is less and less time for people to vote up sessions.

BTW, the reason there was a deadline to begin with, as far as I recall, was to allow us to figure out whether to keep 1 or 2 rooms open for BoFs. Note that, at this point, we already have 5 "formal sessions" beyond what two rooms can hold.

Anyway, I'd be for opening the sessions up again.

A little overflow should be ok

I think we can probably turn down enough sessions to get everything into two rooms, but if there's a small amount of overflow into a 3rd room it won't be the end of the world. We can probably turn some of the smaller sessions into BoFs anyway.
