I might be able to host at my job
I work downtown near Independence Hall. There's nobody in the office during the weekends so I'll ask my boss this week if I can use one of the conference rooms for a meeting. How does that sound???

westphilly- when do you think you can know for sure about your work for a location? So if that works we'll go with that if there are no major objections...keep us posted---either way lets shoot for the first meetup to be the first weekend in march- that saturday.. Once we get word from Westphilly about that location ...we can post an official time and location- I was thinking of a casual agenda for the first meeting-like general meet and greet - 1.why drupal and what project you may be working on- 2. one or two major questions or issues that you may have that would help to get other people's take on. 3. one issue/process or a your favorite module that you feel confident in and/or think that is important for other people to know- (cause it was like an aha moment when you figured it out). Just few ideas. other peoples thoughts?

Are we set on weekends? I have essentially no availability weekends. That's take the kids sledding time :)
Maybe we should do a poll for weeknight vs. weekend preference?

I guess we need to do a polll first on whether we will have a meeting on weeknights or on the weekend. I've never set up a poll before. In the meantime, my boss is in the office today and I'll see if I can get the okay to host this meeting.

i went to Penn for undergrad and thus have a love for west philly and center city. and south philly. ah, great town. now i live in boston so i can't attend. good luck all.
