Learn about Drupal and meet local Drupal enthusiasts. We will meet from 6 pm until 7:30 pm.


Agenda

The meeting will feature as many 5 to 10-minute presentations as time will allow on a topic that is interesting and useful for every level of site builder, from beginner to expert. This month we will be discussing ways to improve the user experience in Drupal.

Creating sites that are easy for people to use should be one of a developer’s main goals. Please come and present your favorite tip to improve the user experience in Drupal.

Some topics that you might consider presenting on:

  • A contributed module that makes working with Drupal easier
  • Building your own admin dashboard
  • Disabling all distractions that the user doesn’t need
  • How to make a custom node edit screen
  • Redirecting visitors to the right place
  • Improving the selection of taxonomy terms
